2008

" When you are making a success of something, it is not work. It is  way of life. You enjoy yourself because you are making your contribution to the world." (Andrew Granatelli) I turely believe in what Napoleon Hill said, that "Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their gretaest failure"

The  Year 2007, is where the tangibility of the efforts of SHINA INC. began to be realized. We registered SHINA Association Kenya, and opened offices in Zanzibar and Pemba. We celebrated the first "SHINE with SHINA"- Africa in Tanzania.

The small steps we have taken generated fruits beyond our measure. Seeing the eyes of women and children blick with hope, touched our hearts. Community awareness was one of our major achievements as we strongly believe it is the begining of community empowerment.

Togather we can make a difference. We are looking forward to your participation in this year's activities. We need volunteers on all levels, our Youth Programmes, Shine with Shina Annual Gathering, Fund Raising, Policy and Advocacy for Women at all levels and other Development Programmes.

Remember, " You must accept that you might fail; then, if you do your best and still do not win, at least you can be satisfied that you you have tried. If you do not accept failure as a possibility, you do not set high goals, you do not branch out, you do not try- you do not take the risk" (Rosalynn Carter)

                           The changes begins with you

Together we can make a difference.
